Job description: Technical Support Engineer
General Description:
Technical Support Engineer for the company's onsite electronic lockers. Candidate will possess a basic electronic knowledge of digital electronic device. Candidate will be highly experienced in providing excellent customer service and problem escalation/resolution.
Primary Job Functions:
Provide troubleshooting and technical support onsite, Advise customers regarding the product's proper use and address specific user issues. During problem escalations, act as a liaison between customers and support supervisor. Candidate will assist the customer base during installations.
Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of electronic and computer basic knowledge.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of problems.
Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment.
• Must excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are required for success.
• Innovative thinker who is positive, proactive, and readily embraces change.
• Ability to handle clients professionally during all interfaces.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
Work Status:
Full time
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• To handle the service calls for 24 hours, 7 days a week.
• To handle technical enquiries from customers
• To conduct effective technical solutions for customers on site or off site
• To produce quality service report for each task
• To maintain our lockers system on site
• To be able to travel anywhere when required, including in public holidays
• To co-operate with subcontractor to handle on site service, products manufactured
• To work closely with the sales team
• Effective self management
• Be a good team player and to encourage teamwork amongst our colleagues
• To complete other tasks as allocated by the manager
